This exhibition proposal was created for the Harvard Graduate School of Design Course entitled "Curatorial Practices in the Museum: From Art to Audience.” The proposal explores Black hair as a creative medium. By exploring the history of Black hair in the United States with its genesis at the Transatlantic slave trade, to more modern times with braiding hair being used as Fashion, this exhibition positions hair as a creative and revolutionary medium.
